Madison Strader is a Federal Policy Associate at Sixkiller Consulting. She focuses on developing policy solutions and advocacy strategies for clients within the private and non-profit sectors involved in defense, foreign affairs, and intelligence. Previously, she trained as a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service before going to work as a Policy Analyst at J.A. Green and Company. There, she managed a portfolio of clients within the cyber security, satellite, stability, and defense industries. From 2013 to 2018, Madison served as the most senior Legislative Assistant in the office of Congressman Adam Smith (D-WA) when he was Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC). She supported his work on the HASC, assisting in the advancement of legislation related to military personnel, readiness, and installation issues in addition to managing a large and diverse domestic policy portfolio. Madison also currently serves as a volunteer Community Ambassador for Planned Parenthood within the D.C. area. A proud Washington state native, Madison is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she focused on international security and foreign policy.
